Welcome!
This site is about my interests and activities as a psychologist. It started out being about my psychotherapy practice in southern New Hampshire but I have now closed this practice (as of July 31, 2008). If you are a prior client looking for your records or a referral, or are looking for a therapist, please click on My Practice for information.
These days I am doing a number of things. One of my biggest current interests is in writing about and mentoring or consulting with "second half of life" adults who are thinking about retirement or have already retired. This stage of life requires planning ahead and making choices or decisions, not all of which are anticipated. Frequently people find that they are dealing with changes or choices they were not prepared for. Click on Ready for Retirement? to learn more about this part of my professional activities.
I also am a mental health consultant for the Disability Determination Service of the Social Security Administration, in the office in Concord, NH. You can find out more about all of the Social Security Administration programs (and some useful tools for planning retirement) at ssa.gov.
